Marulu: The Lililwan Project, launched on Saturday the 17 July 2010, is Australia's first study into the prevalence and impact of foetal alcohol sprectrum disorder among Indigenous children. The study pools the expertise of paediatricians, allied health workers and social workers form the George Insititue for International Health, the University of Sydney, and the Nindilingarri Cultural Health Service. It is also hoped that the study will be of benefit in developing models of care for the future.
