The National Aboriginal and Islander Day Observance Committee (NAIDOC) are calling for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women 18 to 30 years old to take up the challenge to become Miss NAIDOC Perth 2014.
NAIDOCs origins can be traced to the emergence of Aboriginal groups in the 1920s which sought to increase awareness in the wider community of the status and treatment of Indigenous Australians. It is calling for confident young Indigenous women of Perth, who are positive role models in their community and can speak with confidence to become Miss NAIDOC Perth for 2014.
Application close Friday 28 March, 2014. Follow links for further information.
