Next stage of national binge drinking campaign kicks off to support Indigenous youth

The Minister for Indigenous Health, Warren Snowdon, said the campaign called Your Life, Your Culture, YOU CHOOSE! has been designed to bring Indigenous youth together at events with their local communities and health professionals to promote alternatives to binge drinking. "Communities need to work together to address binge drinking - but we need to support those communities," he said. The campaign is one component of the Rudd Government's plan to tackle binge drinking nationally, and includes the distribution of information kits at events (consisting of posters, fact sheets and case studies) and radio and print advertising.
