Amalgamation of Environmental Health Australia (WA) and Environmental Health Association Australia

Date posted: 23 August 2013

Environmental Health Australia (WA) (formerly the Australian Institute of Environmental Health) and Environmental Health Association Australia (EHAA) have come to an agreement where the organisations will amalgamate and operate under the constitution of Environmental Health Australia (WA).

Both Presidents recognise the critical need for one strong professional association to represent the interests and the future of Environmental Health Officers and related practitioners.

EHA (WA) and EHAA are encouraging members to show their support by joining or re-joining EHA (WA), either as an individual or corporate member and by becoming actively involved in the broad ranging activities of the organisation, such as workshops and programs. Environmental health workers are also strongly encouraged to attend the 38th Annual National Conference from the 24-26 September, held in Perth.
