HealthInfoNet receives two awards

Date posted: 8 July 2013

The Australian Indigenous HealthInfoNet has been the recipient of two awards in the past week.

Out of nearly 100 staff nominated for the Edith Cowan University Vice-Chancellor's award this year, HealthInfoNet were pleased to receive the award for Engagement in Research. Vice Chancellor Kerry Cox said he believed the awards were a great way of distinguishing well deserved staff. 'The Vice-Chancellor's Staff Awards are a testament to ECU's commitment to the values of personal excellence, integrity, rational inquiry and respect,' he said.

The HealthInfoNet were also acknowledged in the recent Australian Business Awards, receiving an Australian charity award for outstanding achievement. The Australian charity award for outstanding achievement recognises charitable organisations that have achieved outstanding results through initiatives that have significantly raised the awareness and/or funds for a charitable cause. Our congratulations go to the Fred Hollows Foundation who were the overall winners of the category.
