The Cooperative Research Centre for Remote Economic Participation, a Central Australian-based research organisation, has secured $32 million from the Federal Government to develop projects aimed at closing the gap between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australians. The projects will focus on strengthening regional economies in remote Australia, building new enterprises and improving remote education and training.
