Australian Indigenous HealthBulletin

Substance misuse yarning place - now available

Date posted: 3 November 2008

The HealthInfoNet has now got a new yarning place: Indigenous substance misuse. This yarning place replaces the four separate substance misuse yarning places: alcohol misuse, inhalant misuse (including petrol sniffing), illicit drug use, misuse of kava and other drugs. This change is taking place to avoid cross postings, and to avoid members having to join multiple yarning places, when members are interested in addressing the abuse of substances in general. Members will still be able to log in with the same password as they have used previously. The substance misuse yarning place will be accessible from any of the substance misuse pages (via the green button on the right hand side of the screen). To join the substance misuse yarning place, go to the substance misuse web page and fill out the online membership form that comes up when you click on 'join now' on the right hand side of the screen.
