Centre Officer

Full-time, fixed term (20 months)

The Australian Indigenous HealthInfoNet is seeking a full-time Centre Officer to join their team. The Centre Officer will contribute to the day-to-day running of the Centre through the provision of a full range of administrative activities including (but not limited to) the areas of finance, procurement, staffing, marketing, engagement and record-keeping. The position will be based at the HealthInfoNet on Edith Cowan University's (ECU’s) Mt Lawley campus.

Key capabilities of this role are:
1. Completion of Year 12 with subsequent administrative experience or an equivalent level of experience gained from a combination of education, training and/or experience in a large organisation, research centre and/or health-related organisation
2. Experience in providing efficient and effective administrative support across many areas of an organisation including to senior staff
3. Excellent communication, teamwork and organisation skills
4. Well-developed computer literacy and online search skills, including use of Microsoft Office and search engines.

The Australian Indigenous HealthInfoNet contributes to 'closing the gap' in health between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and other Australians by making research and other knowledge readily accessible through an innovative Internet resource; Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are particularly encouraged to apply for this position.

Benefits & remuneration

This full-time, fixed term position (through to 30 June 2019), attracts remuneration of $61,613 to $65,829 plus University superannuation contribution.
