Welcome to the Indigenous illicit drug use web resource - for people working, studying or interested in addressing the use of illicit drugs among Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We aim to provide quality information and resources to support the reduction of harms associated with the use of illicit drugs among Indigenous peoples.

The term illicit drugs refers to those drugs which are illegal to possess and supply such as cannabis and amphetamines. For prescription drugs which are not used for the purposes for which they were prescribed (such as painkillers), please see our section on pharmaceuticals.
