This section provides information on mental health screening and assessment tools that can be used to identify mental illness and associated substance use issues in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Please note that some screening and assessment tools can only be administered by appropriately qualified and/or trained health practitioners. The inclusion of screening and assessment tools on this website does not constitute a recommendation to use a particular screening or assessment tool.
