Australian Indigenous HealthInfoNet Advisory Board

The Advisory Board was formed in 2008 to provide expert strategic advice to the Director and Executive Group of the HealthInfoNet to assist in optimising our contributions to ‘closing the gap’ between the health of Indigenous peoples and other Australians.

The Advisory Board comprises representatives of key stakeholder organisations and members selected for their individual expertise. Members in alphabetical order are:

Our reference groups

As well as the strategic advice provided by the HealthInfoNet's Advisory Board, we are assisted in specific areas by a number of reference and/or steering groups. We currently have reference groups assisting in the areas of ear health and hearing, eye health, substance use, and social and emotional wellbeing.

Development of the evidence-base for Indigenous environmental health practitioners is being guided by a similar group.
