The Aboriginal men's health strategy 2012-2015 provides guidance for the Department of Health, Western Australia to work in partnership with non-government organisations and communities to improve the health of Aboriginal men. The strategy aims to improve the health outcomes for Aboriginal men to ensure that they live long and healthy lives, and is underpinned by the following principles:

The NSW Department of Health has developed a plan for improving Aboriginal men's health. This report outlines the strategies and includes a comprehensive overview of health risk factors affecting Aboriginal men. The holistic approach focuses on five key areas: making health services more accessible and appropriate; improving collaboration and coordination of services; workforce development and training; research and information and developing supporting environments.
