Members of the Public Health Council represent 13 leading non-government public health organisations in Western Australia:

Australasian Faculty of Public Health Medicine (WA Regional Committee)
Organisation concerned with training of public health physicians and for maintaining the standards of its Fellows.

Australian Health Promotion Association (WA Branch)
Association set up in 1990 specifically for health promotion professionals.

Australian Institute of Environmental Health (WA Division)
Organisation which advocates issues in environmental health and promotes the interests of environmental health professionals.

Cancer Foundation of Western Australia
Non-government organisation that aims to reduce the impact of cancer in our community. Their site provides information on current cancer research, community education programs, retail goods, support groups, and fundraising events.

Centre for Public Health, Edith Cowan University
The Centre for Public Health, which lies within the Faculty of Communications, Health and Science, undertakes research and offers a variety of courses in a number of areas of public health specialisation.

Combined Universities Centre for Rural Health
This centre is one of seven Commonwealth-funded University Departments of Rural Health nationally. It is based in Geraldton and is managed by a consortium of Curtin University of Technology, Edith Cowan University, and The University of Western Australia.

Department of Public Health, The University of Western Australia
The Department undertakes public health research, teaching and service with focus on knowledge that will influence health policies and practices.

Derbarl Yerrigan Health Services
A clinic that provides free consultation with doctors, nurses and welfare officers for Aboriginal people in the Perth (WA) metropolitan area.

Division of Health Sciences, Curtin University of Technology
A comprehensive health campus, comprising eight schools and nine departments.

Health Consumers' Council of Western Australia
Established in 1993, the Council encourages education, training and community participation to ensure health consumers contribute to the development of health policy, planning, research and service delivery.

National Heart Foundation (WA Division)
This is non-profit health organisation aims to improve the heart health of Australians and to reduce disability and death from heart and blood vessel disease.

Public Health Association of Australia (WA Branch)

This association provides a forum for the exchange of ideas, knowledge and information on public health.

TVW Telethon Institute for Child Health Research
The Institute aims to improve the health of children through the development and application of research into the causes and prevention of ill-health and the maintenance of health.
