The television program Skin cancer: keeping it in check, funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing, was first broadcast on the Rural Health Education Foundation's satellite network on Tuesday 26 October 2010. The program discusses the risk factors and protective factors for skin cancer, early detection and diagnosis of skin cancer, and the various recommended treatment options.
This program is accredited or endorsed as a resource for Continuing professional development or Continuing professional education by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine, the Royal College of Nursing Australia and the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
