Description

This short podcast is one of a series of messages providing information about otitis media (ear disease). It was produced as part of the Listen `ear: a Murri and Ailan ear health campaign, a local initiative of the National Indigenous ear health campaign, Care for kids' ears. The podcast includes a medical explanation of otitis media and information on the health consequences and prevention of the disease within a culturally appropriate context and delivered by Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voice artists. It runs for 1 minute and 24 seconds.

The Listen `ear messages were originally aired on Indigenous radio station, 98.9fm, for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander listeners in south-east Queensland and were funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing.
