Description

Speak 2 heal was developed as a 'call to arms' for people to speak up about family violence, wherever it is encountered.

With the support of local Elder and Aboriginal Education Officer, local community members, Warra Warra Legal Service staff and a group of young people, Desert Pea Media spent five days discussing where family violence comes from and how it might be dealt with as a community, so the community is a safer, happier place for everyone.

The development of this video was a collaboration between Desert Pea Media, Warra Legal Service in Broken Hill New South Wales and the local Indigenous community, including young people, Aboriginal Elders and community members.

Please note: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are advised this video may contain images of people who have passed away.
