Description

This resource aims to improve Yolngu understanding of the dynamics of family violence. The resource uses the Yolnu knowledge seasons to encourage people to reflect on what action they can take to keep their children and families safe, and to reflect culturally relevant dynamics on domestic and family violence.

The poster and radio plays, visually and audibly describe each phase of the cycle of violence with icons of people, fauna, flora and atmospheric phenomenon according to the Yolngu cycle of seasons.

Abstract adapted from Aboriginal Resource and Development Services
