Description

The Visiting optometrist scheme (VOS) map locator is an electronic resource for eye health professionals to find the nearest VOS location in Australia.

The Visiting Optometrists Scheme (VOS) supports optometrists to deliver outreach optometric services to remote and very remote locations, and rural communities with an identified need. It aims to improve eye health for people living in remote and very remote locations, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Optometrists interested in providing an outreach optometric service can contact representatives from the Department of Health and Ageing available in the contact details section below.
