Description

The core competencies set out in this document describe the skills, knowledge and attitudes required to effectively perform the role of a Credentialled Diabetes Educator (CDE).

This document serves to guide CDE's practice regardless of their foundation health professional discipline and aims to reflect the competencies that underpin all areas of diabetes self management education and care.
