This audiovisual resource aims to raise awareness of suicide among Indigenous Australian communities, and ways in which traditional and contemporary Aboriginal music and dance help to maintain sound mental health and wellbeing.
The DVD is spoken in Djambarrpunyu (Yolgnu) language and includes English subtitles. It features community health workers, Aboriginal mental health workers, musicians and young people who each give their accounts of ways in which music has positively influenced their lives, developed strong cultural connections and helped to build personal resilience.
