Description

These Take the stairs posters were developed to encourage people to use the stairs instead of taking the lift. They focus on the kilojoules burned when taking the stairs and on the added health benefits. The posters have six key messages:

The posters were developed by the Premier's Council for Active Living (PCAL) New South Wales (NSW) in collaboration with the NSW Ministry of Health and the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage.

When to use this resource

These posters can be placed at the base of the stairs at lifts to encourage people to use the stairs. They can be used to inform people of the health benefits of using the stairs, or simply remind people of the opportunity to be more active.
