Description

This audiovisual resource provides information for clinicians on acute rheumatic fever (ARF) and rheumatic heart disease (RHD) in northern Australia. In particular the video discusses what ARF and RHD are and how to effectively manage ARF so that it does not impact upon daily life, or progress into RHD.

The video was produced by RHD Australia and the Western Australian Country Health Service (WACHS).

When to use this resource

This resource is aimed at viewing by young Indigenous Australians, and is intended for use by doctors, nurses, Indigenous Health Workers and allied health professionals in promoting effective management of ARF.
