The poster was developed as part of the Kimberley Healthy Adults Project. It is part of a series of posters, with each poster describing a different health condition to an older Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander audience.

When to use this resource

This poster should be displayed in health clinics and other places visited by older Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. Those who work with older Indigenous people, particularly health workers, could also explain the poster to their clients to help them understand that depression is not a normal part of ageing.
