Description

This resource aims to provide advice regarding when to suspect bronchiectasis. Bronchiectasis is defined as a pathological diagnosis typically confirmed by radiology. The article provides advice on how to proceed with confirming or refuting a diagnosis, and the principles of management to minimise disease progression and manage the acute exacerbations, symptoms and associated disability and impaired quality of life. The article provides case studies and tables to assist diagnosis of the condition.
