Description

This handbook provides the Social and emotional wellbeing (SEWB) counselling workforce with information on the requirements of providing SEWB counselling services to members of the Stolen generations and their families. The handbook is designed to ensure that all SEWB counselling services meet a consistent and professional standard in service delivery.

When to use this resource

SEWB counsellors, funded by the Department of Health and Ageing (DoHA), should use this handbook to make sure the services they provide are in line with DoHA's requirements. SEWB counsellors include Bringing them home and Link up counsellors. SEWB counsellors in Link up services should also refer to the Social and emotional wellbeing program - handbook for link up service providers, which complements this handbook.
