When to use this resource

Mental health practitioners can use this culturally appropriate screening tool to assess the social and emotional wellbeing of young Indigenous clients. The instrument can not be used to diagnose a particular mental health disorder, but it can be used to indicate if a young person is at risk of depression, anxiety, or suicide.
