Description

This guide was developed to provide mental health professionals with information on how to provide support to someone who is experiencing suicidal thoughts and/or behaviours. The guide focuses on the prevention of suicide, crisis management, and recovery. It also includes action points to encourage mental health professionals to think about how they work with someone at risk of suicide. Mental health professionals, consumers, and carers were involved in the development of the guide. This is not an Indigenous specific resource.
