Description

The Get up and grow Indigenous specific resources have been developed in consultation with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families, childcare professionals and educators from urban, rural and remote locations in Australia in collaboration with the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing.

These resources are designed to be used in a wide range of early childhood settings by families, staff and carers in the promotion of healthy food and physical activity to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children.

The resources include a handbook for childcare workers, seven information booklets on important child health issues for parents, and five posters to display in childcare centres.
