This toolkit provides advice for journalists who are reporting about Australian Indigenous health. It covers:

The toolkit was produced as part of the Aboriginal health communication project in Western Australia (WA), with input from Aboriginal health and media professionals. The project was a partnership between Health Communication Resources, WA Centre for Health Promotion Research (WACHPR) (Curtin University), Combined Universities Centre for Rural Health (CUCRH), and is funded by Healthway.

A companion toolkit has been produced for Aboriginal health professionals, which provides guidance about how to initiate contact with or respond to queries from the media.
