Statewide Diabetes Clinical Network
This booklet is a colourful pictorial information guide for mothers on what gestational diabetes is and how it is treated. It has information on the diagnoses of gestational diabetes and explains the steps women can take to look after their health during pregnancy including; a healthy diet and drinks, physical activity, testing blood glucose levels and having regular health checks.

This guide was developed by the Queensland Government as part of the Clinical Practice Improvement Centre (IPIC) Innovation Project: Diabetes in Pregnancy. Queensland Health has granted Diabetes Queensland permission to reproduce and distribute this resource.
