Hitnet produces rich learning media with and for those living on the wrong side of the digital divide - populations marginalised by culture, technology and poverty.
Using cutting edge technology to co-create interactive learning materials with the community, Hitnet then distributes them to its unique digital platform of national network of public touch screen kiosks (Community Hubs), web and mobile, enabling easy access to education.
Hitnet currently has 70 interactive Community Hubs on its national network in urban, regional and remote Australia, and a virtual online kiosk accessible via smartphone and tablet. The digital platform delivers culturally appropriate health and social information to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Australians.
