Audiovisual
This audiovisual resource compares the lived experience of two boys - one with normal hearing and one with hearing loss - in order to illustrate the importance of ear checks - as part of the clinical care of otitis media (OM). The video demonstrates to children and parents the social and educational impacts of OM, using narration in Ngaanyatjarra language with English subtitles. The title refers to the challenge of playing sport with hearing loss, as depicted in the resource.
The resource is a local initiative of the National Indigenous ear health campaign, Care for kids' ears and is funded by the Australian Government Department of Health and Ageing.
