Description

My feet and diabetes - a pictorial guide includes messages on how important it is to look after your feet if you have diabetes. It includes five steps for healthy feet. It is a resource to be used with help from a doctor, podiatrist or diabetes educator.

The booklet is part of a series on diabetes pictorial guides designed for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. The guides are intended to support people with diabetes in increasing their understanding of health messages. They use images and simple language that is easy to understand.

Diabetes Australia Vic consulted with the Victorian Aboriginal Community Controlled Health Organisation in developing the booklets to ensure that they were culturally appropriate for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

This booklet produced by Diabetes Australia Vic is distributed through Diabetes Australia Vic and Diabetes WA.
