This factsheet provides prevention and preparation strategies for housing and related infrastructure which may be affected by flooding. It outlines what householders can do to stay safe during a flood and the steps to take to reduce the amount of damage to property and other infrastructure (houses, sheds, bores, roads). It includes website links on flood preparation for Queensland, New South Wales, Western Australia, Northern Territory and Victoria.
