Description

This video, covering the issue of Foetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD) in remote communities, was produced as part of a news story by World News Australia (SBS). The video features a Fitzroy Crossing woman, Marmigee Hand, who is the care provider for her nephew, who has severe disabilities as a result of his mother's drinking during pregnancy. Ms Hand also discusses the production of a documentary on FASD, and her attempt to open a dialogue with other Indigenous cultures on this topic.
