Description

This flipchart provides general information on the lungs and how they function. It provides more specific information on COPD, including:

• what is COPD
• what causes COPD
• signs and symptoms
• how pneumonia is diagnosed and treated
• prevention measures and tips on how to keep lungs healthy.

The flipchart was developed as an educational tool for families and health professionals.

The flipchart's development was in consultation with the Indigenous Respiratory Health Work Group Queensland (Qld), Menzies School of Health Research, The Australian Lung Foundation, Asthma Foundation Northern Territory (NT), COPD Work Group Qld, Department of Health and Families NT and the Menzies School of Health Research Indigenous Reference Group.
