Description

Hero rewards is a Queensland Aboriginal and Islander Health Council (QAIHC) resource that supports Indigenous community members to improve the ways in which they look after their health.

An interactive website offers members a health check tool, a way to register for a health check, and contact information for Aboriginal and Islander Community Controlled Health Services (AICCHS) in Queensland.

The website also includes resources for health professionals and centres:

The initiative is part of the Australian Government's Indigenous chronic disease package (ICDP) program which supports and encourages general practices and Indigenous health services to provide improved health care services for Indigenous Australians, with a focus on tackling Indigenous chronic disease and Indigenous health care.
