The Do something real website was launched in August 2011 with the aim of encouraging people who work in health professions to consider working in Indigenous health.
The website has a blog format with real stories of people who are working to deliver better health outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. It aims to help people who work in medicine, nursing, dentistry, allied health and public health to link in with people and organisations and learn more about the career opportunities available in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health.
The Do something real website is part of the Attracting more people to work in Indigenous health marketing campaign which contributes to the workforce expansion and support elements of the Indigenous Chronic Disease Package (ICDP).
