Description

This online animated video on grief and loss was produced for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. In the video, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cartoon figures discuss the loss of a family member and how they coped with this loss. In the background of the video, Indigenous artwork and photographs of the Australian land are used to add to the appeal of the video.

The video was developed by the Australian Integrated Mental Health Initiative as part of a resource package.

When to use this resource

The video would be a helpful resource for any Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person who is experiencing grief or loss. This resource may also be useful for those close to someone who is grieving to help them understand what this person is going through.
