This brochure has been produced to provide Aboriginal people with information on depression. The brochure aims to remove the shame associated with depression. It covers topics such as:

• what depression is
• common signs of depression
• what can be done about depression
• how depression can affect the heart.

This brochure has been designed to educate Aboriginal patients and communities on depression. It also provides information on who to contact if they are suffering from depression. The brochure could be distributed to Aboriginal people at workshops, community events, or during individual consultations.
