Description

A counsellors guide for working with alcohol and drug users identifies current best practice and promotes quality outcomes for clients. It's purpose is to support development of consistent, high quality service delivery. It explores some of the key skills needed to work at an individual level with people who have substance use problems.

The guide assumes the reader has a basic understanding of the development of alcohol and drug problems and already possesses basic counselling skills.
