Description

The Aboriginal Drug and Alcohol Council's (ADAC) highly successful Petrol sniffing and other solvents manual now has a useful companion DVD of the workshop which ADAC developed to introduce the
manual. The DVD shows the workshop presenter and participants discussing the issues and viewing the series of overheads, many of which are taken from the manual. The workshop is aimed at health workers, teachers, parents and community leaders. It is not an education aide to be used with young children.
The workshop DVD lasts about 50 minutes and is full of information for workers.
It can be used as a discussion starter or as a trigger for community workers to explore their own communities responses to the use of solvents.
