Description

This website tackles the common obstacles identified by driver licensing stakeholders operating in Indigenous communities:

• lack of personal identification
• outstanding fines
• previous suspensions/disqualifications
• medical certificates
• access to services
• literacy issues
• access to accurate information on rules and procedures

By working through the site and answering relevant questions and accessing accurate current information, forms and contact details users can often overcome the obstacles they have faced for accessing a drivers licence. The aim of the website is for the user to create a personal checklist of steps they need to take to be prepared.

The site includes Indigenous guides and appropriate images and photos to support users.
