Factsheet
This two-page factsheet has been developed for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people to provide information on brain functioning. The factsheet explains how the brain works and how the nervous system sends messages around the body. It also provides information on factors that can upset the nervous system and activities that can get the balance back. The factsheet uses diagrams to help understanding and includes artwork that is appropriate for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The factsheet is part of a resource package developed by the Australian Integrated Mental Health Initiative.
