The heart of the matter: rheumatic heart disease educational resource kit (in English) (2008)

Description

The Heart of the Matter Storytelling Guide is used to explain the concept of Rheumatic Heart Disease for Aboriginal people. The DVD included in the kit demonstrates how to use the 'Rheumatic Heart Disease Story Telling Guide'. This guide was developed by health professionals and Indigenous language speakers working together to create a meaningful way to explain Rheumatic Heart Disease. The accompanying diagrams are also designed to be used in education sessions.

The resource Kit includes:

• The Heart of the Matter Storytelling Guide, Second edition, (27 Pages) in English;

• The Heart of the Matter DVD (35 minutes) in English;

• Circulation A3 Diagram laminated;

• Heart Interior A3 Diagram laminated;

• White Blood Cells A3 Diagram laminated.
