This resource is part of the Living strong weight management and healthy lifestyle program. The resource provides low intensity (strength) activities to help people become more physically active. The activities include:

It is available in either a DVD or video format; the video is a captioned version. It takes about 30 minutes to complete the exercises. The resource is culturally appropriate for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

When to use this resource

This DVD has been designed to help Indigenous Health Workers to promote physical activity among individuals or groups they work with. It is good to use with people who have not done much physical activity, as it includes activities that are not too strenuous. There are exercises for people at all stages of physical ability.

It was produced specifically for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people living in rural, remote and urban communities.
