This report was written for non-Indigenous workers to provide helpful information on addressing suicide in remote communities. The report describes the We know our strengths project - a suicide prevention project that targeted Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men in three remote communities in Central Australia. In addition to providing information about the project's aims, methods, and findings, the report also includes information on the subject of suicidal behaviour, suicide awareness and intervention training, and self-care.
