Description

Coronary heart disease is responsible for significant morbidity and mortality among Aboriginal Australians. This best practice guideline for outpatients cardiac rehabilitation is designed to assist health professionals deliver efficient and effective services, based on patient needs and the resources available. The guideline identifies the following for outpatient cardiac rehabilitation:

These guidelines should be used in conjunction with the Health Outcomes Plan for Cardiovascular Health: Coronary Heart Disease 2000 - 2004.
