Description

This episode of Australian Story covers the life story of Mandawuy Yunupingu, lead singer of the band Yothu Yindi, and his experience of being diagnosed with kidney disease. The episode screened on ABC TV on 19 October 2009. Mandawuy's idea is to use his life story as an example for people back in his own community. It is a moving story with some key messages about chronic kidney disease.
