Description

These guidelines provide government and communities with a set of resources for assessing and managing water quality in natural and semi-natural water supply sources.

The guideline was produced as part of the Australian national water quality management strategy (NWQMS), which aims to achieve the sustainable use of Australia's and New Zealand's water resources by protecting and enhancing their quality while maintaining economic and social development.
